Let the parts be U, V, W, X
U + V + W + X = 1250 =>(1)
4U = 3V = 2W = X
U = X/4, V = X/3, W = X/2
Substituting in 1 we get,
(3X + 4X + 6X + 12X)/12 = 1250
25x/12 = 1250
x= 120 ×12 / 25 = 600
U = 600/4 = 150 ; V = 600/3 = 200; W = 600 / 2 = 300 and X = 600
300 - 200 = 100
