Explanation:
Speed of still water = 5 km/hr
Speed with stream = 5/(45/60) = 20/3 km/hr
Speed of water current = 20/3 â€“ 5 = 5/3 km/hr
Speed against current = 5 â€“ 5/3 = 10/3 km/hr
Time taken = 12/(20/3) + 12/(10+3)
18+36 / 10 = 54/10 = 5.4 hrs
